About NVS
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It runs a network of co-educational, residential schools called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across different states and union territories of India. These schools focus on providing quality education to talented students, especially from rural backgrounds.
NVS also conducts recruitment exams for various teaching and non-teaching posts, mainly for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT).
